Vittorio started as a labourer on specialist works sites. Driller, site manager, then design office engineer on major international projects, he knows the chain end to end: the field, its supervisors, project management and support functions.
Data and AI came later, and stayed. A construction engineer by training, he chose to put them to work for the sector he comes from, because nearly everything there is still to be done: tools to modernise, others to invent, and teams waiting for them.
Large groups move slowly, held back by their size, their processes and software that stopped keeping pace with the field. Smaller firms face a different constraint: the trade takes all the time there is, tooling is expensive, and the people doing the work cannot be expected to be digital specialists as well.
LAB-01 exists to move those lines. To advance by method, to put tools worthy of the largest players in everyone’s hands, fitted to each one’s constraints, and to pass on what it takes to use them. Tools for today, where every link in the chain gains.
For large groups, we modernise what already exists. For smaller firms, we provide what their size does not let them hire: a buyer, a cost controller, a logistician, a resource planner, in the form of tools. And for all of them, we show that data drives growth, makes scaling possible and gives a reading of the business far sharper than the balance sheet.
